Requirements:
Hawaii State regulations require massage school students to first get a current within one year TB test, and a American Heart Association certified CPR training card.
The TB is free at health clinics such as Dimond Head Health Clinic, or Lanikili Health Clinic. The CPR is available in many venues, please check the yellow pages or on-line for CPR training.
A minimum of High School diploma or GED is required due to the Anatomy portion. The Hawaii State writen exam for massage will also include questions about ethics, laws, regulations, contra indications, etc., so a basic academic background is required.
Being Drug addiction free is required.
No one with a history of sexual assualts will be allowed to attend classes.
Inapprorpiate sexual behavior with other students during the course of training will result in being expelled without a refund.
The definition of inappropriate is at the discretion of the school ownership.
